Pulverizer Mills Model 520 V - Pennati Costruzioni Meccaniche S.r.l.

The 520 V type mill is used to grind various very fine products. Based on the principle of high velocity impact grinding, and thanks to control over the particle size by means of a dynamic selection system, which is built into the mill itself, it is possible to achieve a very high degree of fine material.
It is used with excellent results in grinding SODIUM BICARBONATE which acts as a reagent in incinerator smoke treatment lines, to neutralise acids which the smoke contains.
The PLC control automatically regulates incoming feed rates and main process parameters.
The 520 V type mill is available in various sizes to suit the required throughputs.
  • Features

    These disintegrate materials which are not very resilient by shock against an impeller with stakes, and plastics by special rotating blades. The stator is water-cooled. The feeder is prepared for the injection of liquid nitrogen when cryogenic grinding is necessary. The dynamic high performance selector ensures high separation, up to 20 micron. Automatic piloting checks the operating parameters without human intervention. All the rotating parts have standard protection. The filter is made of anti-static fabric, of a type chosen according to the dust, with automatic washing in countercurrent compressed air. Control panel with starters, ammeters, automatic pilot and instrumentation. On request: vacuum indicator displayed on the panel - indicator of capacity displayed on the panel - temperature probes. The systems are appropriately soundproofed, with a noise of less than 85 db (A) and are fitted with anti-explosion safety devices. They are made of Carbon Steel - AISI 304/316.
