The Model 455 lump breaker is used to crush agglomerates and medium soft materials.
It grinds by impact/cutting at low speed, the end product dimensions are achieved by a toothed screen.
Crushed product is discharged by gravity.
Crushing is achieved through interaction between the material entering the machine and the rotor paddles, located along a cylindrical screw, thus limiting the impact caused by crushing lumps of larger dimensions.
